 The historic route to Marina Grande takes you through an ancient gateway in the walls of Sorrento and down a pathway with shallow steps leading to the cove and its wonderful views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples.

By Car: Directions: From Rome Highway A1 to Naples, take the A3 to SALERNO. Exit CASTELLAMMARE DI STABIA SS 145 to SORRENTO. Once in Sorrento at the crossroad turn left along the VIA DEGLI ARANCI. After 1.5 Km you will get to the CORSO ITALIA (Sorrento High Street) facing the Hospital. Take a sharp right U turn down to VIA DEL MARE, the hotel is situated at the end. Daily parking charge Euro 10.00.
By Bus: Marina Grande has a regular bus service from Sorrento town centre. (Linea D' Bus)
By Air: Getting to and from the local NAPLES CAPODICHINO AIRPORT there is a regular bus service to Sorrento, typical minimum charge Euro 7.00. Limousine service, typical minimum charge to the hotel is Euro 75.00.
By Train: A regular service takes about 1 hour from Naples (Piazza Garibaldi or Stazione Centrale). Outside Sorrento railway station take a bus ('Linea D') or taxi to Marina Grande (typical minimum charge Euro 10,00).
By Hydrofoil: A pleasant ride by hydrofoil from Naples Beverello quay takes you to Sorrento in about 35 minutes. Departures are every two hours
